  OK...I Just Have to Share....

  i put my house on the market today at around 12:45pm... the sign went in our front yard around 1:20pm...2:10 the realtor phones and says that someone wants to see the house 1:30 tomorrow (saturday)....then he phones back at 3:45 (i'm out picking up lucifer from work) i phone him back around 4:00pm...he says the people want to see the house at 5:30pm (today)....9:30 we get an offer, and we sign the papers....i am sooooooo happy...lol...but they have 20 days to get an inspector in and their finances in place....so may 11th, if all goes well, my house is sold!

  i just had to share..lol....i have been phoning everyone!

  i saw a fuzzy pic on break.com and managed to get a user id from it and boy oh boy is this the scam of a lifetime!

  I got shunned today...

  actually i get shunned just about every day at work.

  there are at least three or four witnesses that work with me and know me, but they shun me everyday( one of them saw me on this site lol) well i am sick of it, so starting today i am going to speak very loudly to them in front of people.

  i wonder what they'll do....any suggestions of what to say, just quick lines because they tend to walk away as quickly as possible

  well it looks like my plan to fade might not work after all.

  yesterday afternoon i was in my office when two elders stopped by for a visit.

  they came into my job and began to question me in front of my boss and my new assistant!

  What a bunch of JERKS!

  I am thinking about writing an email to one of the elders and letting him know that I do not want them to contact me at work again, if they come back to my office then I will be calling my lawyer. I just don't know how they will react to something like this, might piss them off more.

  Tell him your boss was really mad and he 'now' looks on JWs in an unfavorable light...that they brought reproach to Jehovah's Orgainization and that the C.O. should know about this. Also tell them to just "go to h*ll".

  Don't be "thrown" by the various beliefs regarding the Bible. Like the saying goes "Opinions - everybody's got one".

  I can understand why some consider the book as "rubbish" - I can understand it, but I don't believe it's rubbish (just maybe parts of it).

  I consider myself a Christian, never been a JW. I believe our Creator inspired certain portions of the Bible, men "inspired" other portions..., but that doesn't make it less valuable. We need to seek out those 'treasures' in the Bible that are there to help us understand life and our relationship to the Creator. my soapbox and 2 cents

  UPDATE 2: Since Freedom is Free, Why is it Taxed?

  yesterday after school i had to go work on a project with friends.

  mom said be home by 5, but there was a huge accident a mile from where i live, and i sat on the road for like 10 - 12 minutes, and was 5 minutes late getting home.

  mom was there (didn't go to work- guess why) and she was pissed.

  No... I don't either. However, did you know that it IS a FELONY in Mexico to be illegally in the country?

  This is really two issues.

  1. Border security... Just close the damn border with the military...end of story. They should have done that twenty years ago and we wouldn't be having this problem.

  2. What to do with the illegals that are here. This is not easy because there are so many issues involved. Teenagers who are Americans, but whose parents are illegal, Businesses who ignore the laws on the books, our politicans who are corrupt- how to make the new immigration law effective (it didn't work the last time around), the illegal criminals who make up 25% of the jail population in L.A. County, etc, etc, etc.

  You're my HERO !! The Country is finally waking up to what we in Los Angeles have been dealing with the past 10-15 years. You said a mouthfull (good thing). You should go on talk radio, they would LOVE you. Also...what you wrote...send it as a Letter to the Editor...it truly is FABULOUS! and YOU have a right to say those things.

  btw.... the May 1st boycott seems to be falling apart at the seams. It's been on the radio all day in L.A. The illegals are rethinking their plans...they think the "gingos" are getting pissed off to where there might be a backlash against their efforts in Congress.

  just got home from a family easter get together in vancouver, wa.

  had bbq chicken, ham, potato salad, etc.

  we had a huge peep war that spilled into the street and got the neighbors involved.
